Skills & Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders in a school setting

  • Conduct case management, SHARS billing, and ARD participation

  • Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress summaries

  • Collaborate with school teams and caregivers to support student progress

  • SLPs may supervise SLP-Assistants or Clinical Fellows

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district standards

Qualifications: Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Texas Licensure (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Experience in school settings preferred

  • Telehealth and bilingual (Spanish-English) skills a plus

  • Yes, indirect time is compensated. However, this may vary due to district requirements.

  • The materials available may vary depending on the campus and district. Most have a host of supplies available.

  • Timekeeping is easy! We have an app available for you to track your daily hours. Additional records may be requested by the districts as well, but we will always keep you informed of any documentation requirements.

  • Our therapists are treated like Stars! We provide an outstanding level of support to our team. We are a phone call, text, email, and/or visit away. We advocate for our therapists and students, and we strive to provide a caring, professional environment to allow all to shine brightly and reach greater heights.
